Japanese Courses in Montreal and Online
We offer dynamic Japanese courses where you will explore Japan’s rich cultural heritage through music, cinema, art, food, and more. The 5 levels will help you improve your oral expression and build confidence after learning basic grammar, including romaji, kanji, katakana, and hiragana.
How does registration for Japanese courses work?
- Create a profile on our online platform. You will need a Gmail account to create your profile.
- Select the language you would like to learn.
- If your course level has not been determined yet or if your last course was over 6 months ago, take the placement test, unless you are registering for a beginner level course. This oral and written online placement test is required to determine which Japanese course is best suited to your level.
Evening courses – In-person
Japanese Courses
Every level of the Japanese conversation and grammar courses focuses on teaching four key skills in an interactive manner: oral and written comprehension and oral and written communication.
1 class per week | From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET)
- 2 levels:
- Level 1 | Monday
- Level 2 | Wednesday
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks

Evening courses – Online
Japanese Courses

Monday and Wednesday (ET)
- 2 classes per week
- 5 levels:
- Level 1: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 2: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 3: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Level 4: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 5: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks
Price per session: $360
Specialized Japanese Courses – Advanced Conversation
The courses are designed to practice guided conversation to improve oral communication skills.
Friday | From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET)
- 1 class per week
- Advanced level
- 14 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks
