Italian Courses in Montreal and Online
We offer dynamic Italian courses where you will learn the language while exploring Italy’s rich cultural heritage through music, opera, art, fashion, food, and more. The 6 levels will help you improve your oral comprehension and expression so you can build confidence after learning basic grammar.
How does registration for a Italian course work?
- Create an account on our online platform (a Gmail account is required).
- Take the oral and written test. It’s free!
- Get the results of your test within 72 hours.
- Finalize your registration.
Placement Test
All future language school students must take a placement test, except for:
- Students who have no knowledge of the language they wish to learn.
- Current students of the YMCA International Language School or former students who studied at the YMCA International Language School in the last 6 months.

Italian Courses
Every level of the Italian conversation and grammar courses focuses on teaching four key skills in an interactive manner: oral and written comprehension and oral and written communication.
1 class per week | From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET)
- 2 levels:
- Level 1 | Monday
- Level 2 | Wednesday
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks

Evening courses – Online
Italian Courses
Every level of the Italian conversation and grammar courses focuses on teaching four key skills in an interactive manner: oral and written comprehension and oral and written communication.
2 classes per week (ET)
Monday and Wednesday
- 2 levels:
- Level 1: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 3: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday
- 4 levels:
- Level 2: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Level 4: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Level 5: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 6: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks
